ReDiscovery
The ReDiscovery project developed training, technical assistance, and educational materials on long-term recovery services and resources for individuals with disabilities and other access or functional needs affected by Hurricane Harvey. ReDiscovery supports people and organizations serving Hurricane Harvey survivors in federally-declared disaster counties in Texas including:
- Disaster case managers,
- Disability-related organizations,
- Emergency personnel,
- Long-term recovery committees,
- Voluntary organizations active in disaster (VOADs), and
- Community-based partners
Project ReDiscovery was funded by the American Red Cross, Rebuild Texas, and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy in partnership with the Center on Disability and Development.
